RAF CADET BATTLE OF BRITAIN RIDE
Sunday Sept 22nd 2019 - LONG | MED | SHORT - Rides
After the great success of the 100 years of the RAF ride in 2018, the Kings Lynn cadets are continuing the event to celebrate the 80 years of the BATTLE OF BRITAIN convict and to raise money for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund (RAFBF).
The Heritage Trail was so well liked that most of the locations are keeping their model aircraft on display and the 2019 ride will again follow many locations with new airfields included missed from 2018.
There will be 3 routes again and the long ride will be 120miles, and 2 shorter rides of similar distances to 2018 following most of the Heritage Trail.
Final routes are still to be finalised, but entries are open, so not to miss a place on the start line.
Start and finish will be from RAF Marham as in 2018 and will head towards the coast before looping back to the finish, each route will have well stocked feed stops to keep nutritional levels topped up.
Be part of history again and ride this enjoyable and testing sportive.
